Best. News. EVER: the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2014 will be held right here in our very own home town, Victoria’s Secret Angels Candice Swanepoel and Adriana Lima revealed at the brand’s Bond Street store this morning.

Victoria’s Secret marketing director Ed Razek told Vogue that the company has been wanting to bring the annual lingerie runway spectacular to London since 1998, but it’s only recently that the brand has become well-known enough in the UK to make it a realistic option. The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is a US TV institution, pulling in nearly 10 million live viewers last year – and we can’t wait to see what the London event will bring.

Of course, all we really want to know is whether our favourite VS model Cara Delevingne will be appearing, and according to Razek it’s a very real possibility. “I told Cara a few days ago and asked her to save the date, so hopefully she will walk,” he said. “She was excited. And she kept the secret for a whole week!”

The show will take place at Earl’s Court on December 2nd this year, but the company hasn’t yet revealed any more details, such as who will perform – last year featured Fall Out Boy, Neon Jungle and, of course, Taylor Swift magnificently outfitted in that amazing Union Jack dress and mini top hat. Suddenly the ‘British Invasion’ section of the show makes so much sense.

So will the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2014 tap some British music superstars (surely this time it has to be One Direction)? Will Cara Delevingne or Jourdan Dunn finally earn their Angel wings in their home town? And most importantly, will you be watching?
